Truly, only one situation can change a person's entire perspective on life or death. A mere second will make a person act and think entirely different than the previous 40 years of their lives.
I know, when my little brother died at 25 my perspective on death changed pretty quickly. It really made me value my little bit of time that I have left.
A good chat with those who you value might really help to include you into that perspective. Good people are hard to find and it is worth it to try to keep them from weirding out.
Funny thing well maybe odd. In an other post I just posted. Nails bend and screws snap! Then I seen you post. came to mind.Be the Nail! One has to know when to bend.

People do change for the better in most cases. Its sad to see the negative's that exist. Hard to understand sometimes = the why? Many times its just plain Ignorance or stubbornness.

The Reality of Life is Change - Period!

It always starts with you whether you see it or not or even agree with it.
Sometimes it may be right in front of you knocking at the door. The Time it takes on the other hand is of the essence. Kinda like the Movie ' Ground Hog Day ' with Bill Murray -
if it takes a few times to grasp... then the Lesson is Learned!

The important thing is that you made the change for the better good.
At that point you can realize that now your in the position to help others to see from your own experience.

It's been a while that I complained, here's another one that irks me.

On an advance left turn green there's drivers that leave 4, 5 even 6+ car lengths between them and the one in the front. That advance green isn't there forever, c'mon dimwit, lets get as many cars through as we can. Maybe stop looking down at your phone to notice the traffic is moving.

The one car she drives the most just got hit for the third time Monday. The wife was driving it. Some one turned in front of her to get to the gas station. Crossed her lane of traffic. She pulled in to get info. The driver said he had the right of way. She got the phone out and called 911. As soon as she got the phone out they took off. So I wonder what that is all about. When the police got there they said the gas station downloads their video at noon. She did get the plate number.
I tried for a decade or more to get her out of that car. She said NO NO NO! She knows where all the corners are at on the car and she felt safe. I always keep in top condition. Years back I bought a newer one and it just sat in the garage. There are some many idiot drivers out there. It not a wonder people loose it! It's just a car! But there is some who cares about the person in the car.

My life has been weird , all my life I begged for change & did everything I could to create change but nothing would change . 50 years in Hell .
I eventually forced change & it was the best thing ever but I felt like Jonah running away from where I was supposed to be eventually I was able to relocate to Panama & it has been by far the best thing I could have done .

I would say probably you did the right thing. When you can't think in or out of the box or be the box. You get another box!

Challenger RTA, I hope the wife is OK! A car certainly is like a pair of old comfortable shoes. As I get older, it seems to me there are a lot more idiots these days, but maybe it's because I'm grumpy!

Ethanol was put in effect under Busch in 2005. Obama, Thump, and Biden administrations all abided to this. So let's all blame Trump for Ethanol in our gas. Oh the price of Eggs are outrageous. Let's start crying before we get the facts, that why I watch CNN lol

It was like the commercial. She ask why she wasn't hurt! I said: Because it's a Subaru. She got in one of our other cars and away she went. WAIT IT WAS Mine! good thing I have an other. Just like you said Grumpy. I'm putting on the back of my car. "You Hit Me Were Playing Bumper Cars!"

Cashiers that can't make change, everyone doesn't use a credit card.
I went and got a bale of straw yesterday at a landscaping business. Pulled in and sign said open but door was locked. Another sign read: Making delivery be right back. Waited 10 min not to bad but trying to get done before it rained.
The guy showed up and gave him $9. As I turned to leave he said here's you change. 50¢. I said what am I going to by with that. Can buy nothing with it but loose the change in the car. He remarked he remembered when he cold buy a soda and candy bar with that. I said to him I know I'm more that twice you age. I remember paying 25¢ for a gallon of gas and it went to 50¢. People were mortified.
But any how he got me for 2¢. 😧 I need that 2¢ so I can post it here!
Before Tax Price: $8.00
Sale Tax: 6.00% or $0.48
After Tax Price: $8.48

Damnnn - last bale I bought was $4 -

Right - I Agree - lose the change in the car - or end up vacuuming up the extra coins!
I like to tell them to Round up my bill - so I dont get the extra change ...
or toss in the Tip Jar...
