REVERSE PLUG POLARITY?

After months of work, I don't remember the correct orientation of the plug for the Reverse Switch on my Torqueflite. It can be attached either way. Does it attach as shown in the picture or rotated 180 degrees?
As a Manufacturing Engineer for 25 years, I always tried to get the Design Engineers to make things non-symmetrical if orientation mattered. It usually didn't cost a penny more to change hole patterns.

The way in the picture looks best as it keeps the wiring harness tighter to the transmission, but this truly is a symmetrical design like Chryco mentioned.

Decades ago mine used to fly off whenever I went over 90mph. Back then I cut back some of the plastic to get it to seat better.
