...was out on the road today. Near here is a five road intersect, where five roads meet. Most people close their eyes to get through it and poke and hope. Well, today I met two of 'em at the same time. My way has the right of way with no stop sign. One pulls out in front of me, turning left going the opposite direction I'm coming from, the other is turning left going in the same direction I'm going. Nearly nailed 'em both. One stopped, the other didn't. I locked 'em up and started cussing a blue streak...
Then a little further up the road I get behind a guy in a pick up pulling a downeaster utility trailer who can't seem to do the speed limit of 55. Nope he's gotta do 40. There's two cars between him and I. Got some dumba** behind me in a Toyota Matrix following me so close I can't see him in my mirrors in my Ramcharger. Go ahead, hit me with that pregnant roller skate. Let's see what a class IV hitch, a heavy steel bumper and two frame rails do to your Toyota.
My mom asks me to run over to Walmart for her and pick up a bottle of laundry detergeant. The intersection for this is close to a set of railroad tracks, where sits a school bus, waiting for a train which isn't coming. And sitting. And sitting. And sitting. Meanwhile traffic is piling up. And piling up. And piling up.
Is it a full moon?

Just so much wrong with the situation of the guy with the pick up and the trailer doing 40 and the idiot with the roller skate tailgating me. First, if a tractor trailer can do 75 mph or more with combined length of 75 frigging feet, then why can't an idiot driving a freakin' pick up with a trailer that's twelve feet long at least do the speed limit? And don't get me started on the motorhome snow birds, who are between 90 and death, out on the highway clogging traffic because they can't seem to find the freakin' gas pedal! Is it because that's only as fast as they can think?
As for morons in small cars who tailgate me in a truck that's three times bigger than they are, do they really think they can intimidate me into going faster? Most of 'em are speedbumps to something the size of the Ramcharger... I mean really, haven't they driven long enough to realize that to pass on a two lane there needs to be room between vehicles so a good run can be made? I mean c'mon, a Matrix has what, four squarrels on the treadmill? How fast does he think he can accelerate if he could go around me considering he was only a foot off my back bumper?
