1970 Challenger. The 3/8" grounding strap that comes in the "kit" seems short. When I install it between the fuel line and the sending unit, I have to pull the fuel line away from the body frame towards the tank. There is a very short length of rubber fuel line then in-between the grounding strap. Just doesn't seem right. I can add a pic if needed.

Is a Challenger grounding strap longer than other vehicles? If not, fine. If so, where can I purchase?

Thanks

Just installed one for my '71 Challenger. Didn't measure it exactly but 7 to 8", part number FD58862 from Year One.

Got my Challenger out of the shed for the first time in ages and the fuel gauge has stopped working. Got underneath and checked the strap mine is only about 4 inches long and rusted do you think this is the problem?
