Both dual plane intakes are heavily modified with the center divider wall removed for higher RPM .

Yes, all 3 are heavily modified for EFI usage. They were tested in various configurations through the years. Interestingly, even though early conventional wisdom was that MPI needed a single plane, that didn't really play out. Dual plane testing was not a lot different than as they are now. My turbo EFI 383 has also been very happy with a dual plane.
