Students building a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda w/392 HEMI!

I teach an automotive class in high school based out of Syracuse NY. This year we are building a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda. We do have the build sheet but we did not have the matching motor. This is a custom build. Here are some specs. Are they desirable?

Engine: 2018 Challenger RT 392 HEMI
Trans: Tremec TKX 5 speed from Silver Sport Transmission
Engine pulley kit: CVF Racing
Air Conditioning: Old Air products
New Dash pad
Good set of A/C dash vents
American Auto wire Classic update harness.
Will end up Plum Crazy Purple in memory of a students father (all students vote for what gets done to vehicles)
2.76 Rear gears
4 wheel power disc brake conversion with booster
EFI fuel tank with Pump and GM regulator/filter
Currently BF Goodrich Traction TA tires 15 inch.
Battery relocate to trunk
New trunk pan/inner and outer wheel housing/new rear quarters, new fenders, new front valance/rear valance
DONATED Pypes performance exhaust (thanks JOE G)
Dakota digital Dash
TTi Headers
Bergman AutoCraft steering gear update
Sublime Technology (DIYHEMI) stand alone harness with factory fan and radiator.

New seat covers on on the way!

Just recently we were able to turn the key and see if it would start! Let me tell you! I am excited about this car!!!!

There are so many questions I still have on the build itself that I am learning. 2 years ago when we bought the car I definitely made the mistake of taking it down to every last nut and bolt! Those students are gone and new ones are researching the reassembly!

Probably not a big deal since you’re selling.
Eventual owner will need to change out those gears for 3:73 or more.

It's cool that the young "kids" are involved in the project. Even better if they were interested in the car and could post in your thread. It would be great if previous classes showed up when done.
Figuring out assembly parts is easy. Gather what you think goes where, and post a picture. We can tell you if you're missing something, or have parts that don't belong with that group.
Its just like buying a parted out car, which many of us have done.
And yes, 2.76 gears are way too tall. But thats a long way off.

I do owe some thanks to the previous instructor I took over for because he set it up. Ran for 18 or so years then I took over in 2020!

Past students do actually come back to meetings and they help with tickets and shows!

As for a forum, this new day and age we are lucky they answer a phone call or text!

Thank you for your work with the kids. They gain valuable lessons and skills that can be used potentially as adults in the work place. So many auto programs have either disappeared, were scaled back or moved from regular high school programs into specific vocational schools. I appreciate your efforts for making learning meaningful, cool and fun for the younger generation.

So I spoke with Tremec about the transmission being 5 speed and they asked what our rear gear was and they sold us the trans that would be best with that gear ratio. So will this set up with 2.76 be undriveable?

TREMEC TKX 5 speed for FORD/MOPAR.
600 torque, 26 spline input shaft. Wide ratio 3.27
1.98 1.34 1.00 .72, REV.D
If it were my build I would run either 3.23 or 3.54 gears with that trans. The 2.73 gears will be okay and should make for some really good gas mileage but they take away from the 'off the line' experience.
