Where would one recommend purchasing:

Front grille

driving lights

driver a/c duct that can house Old air products control panel

a pillar plastics

maybe driver side sunvisor mount.

I have the rear door/back seat plastics but they spray painted them from white to black and they aren't the best looking.

Contact some of the big companies like Year One and Mancini Racing. Tell them what you're doing with the kids building the car and they may be willing to wheel and deal with you a little bit! Especially if you promise to let everyone know who helped you and your students build the car. It would be great Public Relations for any company!

very cool, painting plastic is a process and takes special prep adhesive promoter and paint, not sure what you used but it should come out painting black, if you go to restorations search here and at fbbo, there are guys that have done very nice work on plastics. repop stuff is pretty pricey, and usually a little off so it will take some tweaking to get them to fit. but plastic stuff is something you can pull off, after seeing what you guys did on the paint. hats off and congratulations on what you've down so far. and get a 3.73, you all will be alot happier with the cars performance. But won't be a real fast highway driver.   purple rules!

8-3/4 or 9 inch rear? If 8-3/4 be sure to get a 489 housing, the rest won't stand the torque of that engine. You can get new from several vendors like Classic Industries or find used on Craigslist or FB Marketplace and rebuild with whatever ratio you would like.

P.S. I grew up in Upstate NY (Finger Lakes area)

Thats cool!

8 3/4 with the 489 case. (checked on changing to different gear ratio).

Can we buy tickets online?
I wish I could offer that. Drives me nuts. Apparently if we allow online ticket sales then it becomes a whole different process. Currently, I get money orders, checks, and some people send cash (I can't believe people do this! I do get one $100 bill from Australia every year!)

The project is coming along great. I bought tickets twice in the past for a truck and a car built by your students.
