Suggestions for a 727 replacement Automatic

RICO, Your 383 727 is for a B, RB engine. Will not fit an LA 318/340/360 engine.

I agree! Back in the day, dragracers used to do a 'neutral drop' launch off the line with the 727. Not many other AT's could survive that kind of abuse like the torqueflites did!

Neutral starts were banned by NHRA, for obvious reasons.
