The 72 barracuda is at a local chassis shop here in Seattle area. It’s getting a 4link and full cage. Still waiting on a crank from Indy. Have everything for the 605 aluminum block hemi. It’s been a long wait, might be longer as Indy says august for the crank.

Low number 1200hp NA. Old school Nhra engine builder says way more. All a guess till the dyno though. Being patient is a son of a gun! Will post pics from the chassis shop soon

A few pics of the cars updated rear suspension. Dropped off wheels/tires for fitting the rear axle.

Damn, that is truly INSANE horsepower!!!

Words of caution thought; Don't wind up like this guy in Delaware that "bought the farm" in his 70 Cuda with crazy horsepower as well. Check out the pics (in the link below) of this guy's motor sitting out in a field after the accident separated the engine from the car and even from the transmission nonetheless...

Crashed 70 Barracuda

Be safe brother!!! Awesome ride--keep us posted...

What size wheels and tires are those? I only able to fit 315/60/15 Drag Radials or a 29.5x10.5W on the rear of mine with a mini tub. Thus is all I need though. Hooks hard as is.

Dang that is awful. You never know when your number is up. Definitely be careful I respect the heck out of what I’m putting together. Ironically the was a 71 cuda in the shop when I dropped mine off. The guy has a blown hemi on nitrous. It is only a street car. I guess his throttle stuck and he didn’t kill the power, hit a telephone pole, and stuffed the front right corner of the car. He is okay car was buildable. It had a full 12 point cage that’s the only thing that saved him. I hope he’s smart enough to put a shut off switch in reach or pop it in neutral next time something happens. You be safe as well.

They are big. Lol.. 31x18.5r15. Have to be able to put the power down at the track. I’ll run sportsman’s (same size) for mild street driving. Oh, they’re also bias ply as I’m rocking a 4 speed. So I don’t know but one would believe that they make a radial version.
