Hey btceng, Man I full on get it. Just keep him engaged in the project, and try to, "try", to answer all his questions. I also found that you can work on the car, and talk about other things too. that way, the work gets done and, He gets the opportunity to get to know You!

Thanks RexDub! Its getting there. It should be a pretty nice piece, If i can ever get steady on it!

just a quick update. been very buisy trying to get a couple of other things DONE at the same time, so things are moving sorta slowly at the moment. but still making progress. which is sometimes a feat in, and of, itself. but i'm pretty happy overall.

Thanks for the update. Why did you do the hinge bolts like that? Is it a trick or just didn't have the right bolts? This is a great thread for education.

thanks alot John!!!!! i guess you could call it a trick. what happened was, i pulled the threads out of a brand new nut plate a long time ago. so i do it this way now untill it is time to do the last build for paint. i had ran the bolt in and out so often that i just killed it(i cross threaded it). now i put the bolt in and, tighten the nut to do all of the alignment stuff. nothing special. but it does what i want it to do. thanks for noticing though. good eye!!!!! Lenny.

I'm about to remove the doors on mine for the first time. I'm finally getting it ready for epoxy. There's a little rust on the the bottom of the doors but no holes. I fear the time for the re-alignment. Keep posting.... Thanks.

Thanks for the update. Got a little epoxy work done on mine and I need to send up a few pics of the rust through issues that I have to fix in that same cowl area that you did such a good job on. Keep it coming.
