Transmission Rebuilder in the Tampa FL area

The trans on my original owner, 1970 'cuda 340 finally gave up. It has never been out of the car. looking for suggestions of a good rebuilder in the Tampa area. Any other tips as to suggested upgrades would be greatly appreciated.

So Ray, who did you end up finding to do your 727 transmission rebuild?

There was a business called DASH AUTOMOTIVE on Causway B'lvd and the owner was a gearhead that was very active in circle track racing. Unfortunately, he retired and Meineke purchased the location. He was my go-to guy from the day I moved to Brandon, but that is now history. It is very hard to lose a great mechanic when you finally find one.
