vin #s

I recently purchased a 73 challenger and I wonder where all V.I.N. #s are. I know about the normal places the Dash , Radiator support and Cowl but it seems to me that there must be others as these parts are changed as rust repair happens. so where should I look to verify that my car is what it is suppose to be. Can any one direct me in the right places to look ?

The only other places are the engine and trans, the fender tag, door vin decal and you should see if the build sheet is still with the car.

Found the #s and all is good. But someone has removed the door decal to do a repaint and now I want to replace it does any body make an aftermarket one ?

Some have a secondary in the driver's side trunk gutter, under the weatherstrip. Update: challenger6pak is correct, no vin on E-body trunk gutter. Sorry for the bad info.

Never seen an E with the VIN there. B bodies have it there.

No number in trunk gutter/rail of e-bodies.
