I usually look at the “Power Wagon Page” and the WW2 forum every day, and sometimes the g503 forum. They do have good tech for the old iron. I got a lot of good info off there about vacuum wipers...

Now that's the mobile director right?
The M.D. was a factory option?

Awesome in any case.
Wish I had a chauffeur to drive me around while I did business in that!

Yep, it was a $600 option in ‘67 and production numbers vary but likely under 100 were built and far fewer in ‘68. It was only available in the coupes for those 2 years.

That is cool. Knew of the option. Never seen it in a car before. Never have to many Mopars. I always wondered how well those vans towed with the extended ass with all that over hand out back? I guess if it towed a C body. It can tow anything.

I'm working on a Ferd. The only one I own.
Currently getting it ready for sale. Pretty much just cleaning it up. It's sat for a few years and I just don't drive it unless I put the flags on it and drive it in the local 4th of July Independence day parade. Hopefully the money will go into my V code Challenger. That's the plan.
The title of this thread didn't require it be a mopar so here it is.

Nice! How long have you had that? I would absolutely be a Ford guy if it weren’t for Mopars.

been in the family since 95. I've had it since 05.
I hate to see it go, but....
runs good. very original car with the exception of one cheapy repaint and an upholstery job. Zero rust. Really a good slab.

Just replaced the bolt in the Schumacher turn buckle that must have vibrated out.

I did not, I thought about it for a few minutes.... as it was plenty in the shop. Would you use blue or red? Lock washer and flat on the head end and lock washer on the nut.

Maybe it is just the angle of the pic, but it looks like the joint end does not lay flat against the motor mount surface. That would prevent the bolt from being completely tightened.

That's correct, the heim (however you spell it) joint makes it appear that way, it's flat against the piece that swivels inside the eyelet and tight.

Blue should be enough but hey if you have red why not.
On mine I built a strap from the engine ear to the mount crossbolt , virtually impossible to see or break
