Howard’s roller lifters, fit is way to tight, had a hard time getting them back out.
At ropes end with machine shop and mopar.

I've posted this before. If I was going to run a roller cam and lifters, I'd go the route in the photo below. When you want to go fancy, you have to pay the price. Otherwise you're compromising.

Are we seeing a crack here? I wouldn't run it like that if it is.

They will need to lightly hone those lifter bores - that will probably resolve the problem. It will need to be stripped and cleaned unfortunately.

Did you ask the machine shop to machine the lifter bores, when you dropped it off?
