hi folks. I have a 70 cuda I think I will be selling soon. It’s a 440 u code. No engine but has a numbers matching 4spd 18 spline trans. Was originally a Dana 60 car but currently has 8 3/4.
So here’s the story. Original owner in the 70’s hit a pole. He had it fixed by getting a front half of a 72 cuda. It was repaired then later got in another accident. Car is basically a rolling body with bucket seats and the 4spd trans with shifter and handle and the gauges with complete dash that looks like new and when I say new I mean like it left the factory yesterday. Owner kept it wrapped since removed. Was removed in the 70’s when the car was wrecked the 2nd time. Car is straight. Frame is straight but like I said front half is a 72. I found the original owner who sold me the original front half. And the trans which I currently have. The current front half was an automatic so it doesn’t have the 4spd tunnel. Also no fender tag. He remembers removing it but no luck finding it. He made me a list of the options it came with and hand signed it. I have documentation (old title and registrations) with his name on it. I assume with the documentation and his signed paper with options list would be sufficient for future owner to get a new fender tag made.
Ball park price? I don’t want to sell it cheap. I know it’s rare given it’s a 440-4 Spd Dana car originally but then again it’s got it’s story and corrections needed. I included pictures of its current state and some the original owner sent me from when it was wrecked back in the day. I do have the other fender.
