Where does the condenser go?

I'm upgrading to the old style (1973) electronic ignition. I got some parts off a 1980 Aspen and I found a few good wiring diagrams, but I'm left with one question before I risk frying all the work I've done so far. Do I need to put the condenser back in its usual place or does the electronic module have one built in?

There is no condenser on electronic ignition. The condenser would be installed in the distributor next to the points on point type ignitions.
You should have the electronic distributor, the brain ( Box with 5 pin plug -in ), ceramic ballast resistor, wire harness to connect to coil and hot wire.

There is an exterior resistor for the coil on some types. It looks like a condenser and is mounted on the manifold bracket with the coil and connects to the coil + side terminal.
Hope this helps
