Which Bypass Hose for 408?

Good morning All, as the title suggests, I’m having difficulty with the Bypass hose (water pump to intake).
I have a Blue Print Engine 360/408 with an Edelbrock air gap intake (which came with the engine).
I tried the standard 360 bypass hose, and, well, it didn’t work. It’s like the intake brass connector is a good one inch too far to the right hand side of the engine.
The bypass hose, even after cutting to fit (in small increments) just doesn’t want to fit probably. The middle of the hose is bent in.
Anyway, please let me know how you overcame this issue.

Engine size doesn't matter. Show us your intake.

Or contact Blueprint Engines. They dyno their engines so they have to have a bypass hose that they use.
