Wiper motor installation

So I got my wiper motor back. The installation kit includes 3 metel grommets. Do i install these inside the rubber bushings then mount the motor against the firewall? I haven't seen them in any motors before. Thanks in advance.

I believe I found my answer. The metal pieces are called spacers. They fit inside the rubber grommets to the outside of the motor, the 3 nuts tighten on top of them, hence called spacers. Please correct me if incorrect.
