This is a LINK to a BIN $550 Ebay sale for a refurbished Mopar Woodgrain Steering Wheel. Posted 11-26. If you are reading this now, the item is still available unless I have marked it as "SOLD."

Wheel has a solid walnut rim vs OE plastic, with real finger joints vs the fake ones on the OE plastic. Full assembly including OEM core, horn and fork pads, and fully functional horn switch mechanism.

I bought one In all honesty finger joints kinda large but I have zero complaints looks better than factory, and feel is great because of the slightly bigger diameter. Great job on this.

@GTS. Thanks for the compliment.

And good point on the size of the finger joint. The portion of the joint exposed on the front (top) of the new wheel appears wider because the radius on that portion of the wheel is larger (3/8" vs 1/4") than on the OEM wheel. Had I shaped that part of the wheel to the OEM wheel size, the joint would have appeared identical, just like it does on the back (bottom) of the wheel.

BTW, I have made 8 of these wheels over the years. But today it makes no sense to buy all the used OEM parts required to make any more. For me it's a labor of love, however and not a money making venture by any means.

If anyone ever wants a wheel like this, I would take your core and put a walnut rim on it for a fair price. I hate to see all the required jigs and fixtures go to waste.
