Excellent breakdown, thanks for posting! Galen Govier's white book shows "000" as "full door panel".

000 signifies the full door panel that requires no interior paint on the door or jambs due to being a full door panel compared to half panels like C bodies have.
Both ways of describing this 000 are correct.

Thanks for your response. Wouldn't the jambs still have to be painted, regardless if full door panels are coded? Thanks.

Yes, but no ebody received a paint code for that little bit of paint that was on the doors. The C bodies could have had different paint codes due to there being so much jamb that was visible and having different interior colors would often times que a different color to be sprayed on the jambs to "blend" the interior and exterior colors.
Ebodies just got a little bit of over spray of the body color and that's what they got. No special call out of differences due to interior colors.

I'm no guru so this is only what I have been able to gather from years of reading and looking at actual cars. I'm too young to have been there and I never purchased any of these cars new as I was not alive. Grain of salt, please.

Excellent response and I appreciate the information. Unfortunately I was old enough to know these cars when they were new, lol! I, like yourself, am not a guru either and I find I learn something new about these cars every day. I'm amazed at the knowledge that you have of these cars, not being alive when they were new! :)

I try to learn something new about them every time I am on the web.
It's surprising how much there is to learn.
Those that say they know everything no nothing! Those that ask and listen learn everything!
As for myself when I grow up, I want to be a Theoretical Practical Astro Physicist. I still have a long ways to go. PS electric car didn't work back in the 1800s because of lack of convenience.

Great job breaking down all the tag codes. The tag shows C56 Reclining Bucket seats (not C55). I have never seen that option code before. I would love to see a picture of the seats in the reclined position, including the lever that is used to recline them. So cool. Has anyone seen reclining buckets? They must be rare.

You're right that the tag shows C56. In Galen Govier's white book it shows "bucket seats" for 1972-1974. Maybe in 1975 or later that code was for reclining seats.
