Hi gang. After being E bodyless since 2002('70 In Violet Cuda 340) I finally pulled the trigger on a EV2 70 Challenger T/A. I have been a FABO member, code name Sole Survivor for many years, as I own a 69 Dart Custom(Q5) that's anything but stock. Its fun and I'll keep it forever since my son helped with the build.
Back to the T/A. I'm 58 and wanted just one more bucket list Mopar before I retire. I could have bought a new Hellcat. But given the fact I just had this burning desire to buy a 70 Challenger that is what I pursued. My first choice was R/T 440 four speed super track pak car. My first car was a 71 340 Challenger. And I owned a T/A in 1983. I have a soft spot for the screaming 340s so when this T/A came along I jumped on it. And haven't looked back. Its a highly optioned car. Even has the rear louvers. I would call the car semi restored. Interior could use an upgrade but in due time. In the meantime the original motor was just rebuilt and a new centerforce clutch installed. And it has a brand new front suspension.
B0307245 appears on the radiator support, engine block, transmission, cowl and door jamb.
I've been around Mopars since I was 16(71 340 Challenger) so I hope to lend advice and receive some as well. Here are a couple of photos of both cars.
