Rallye Gauges and A01 package.

Map Light, Ignition Switch Light and Light over Headlight Switch Panel not working. Maybe having to do with this relay shown in the picture? Not seeing it in the electrical diagrams but I’m sure it’s there.

Let me know if this could be the culprit and the name of it?

also does anyone have a better picture of where on the steering column the relay is taped ? terminals pointing up or towards floor?

I don't remember, it's been on my CPU fo a long time. Mines not taped anywhere, it just dangles under the dash. Taping is a good idea because they do get hot and the column could act like a heat sink.

My candle burned out a long time ago. I now have hard drives of photos. I once had a MRI. They said all they found in the coroners of the empty space were rocks and cobwebs. See my diagram is no longer in color!

At the relay plug there should always be power at the pink wire. Don't forget about the grounds.

I've had a similar problem. Dome light doesn't work with either the door switches or dome light/dash light knob on panel or the key buzzer. Didn't know there was a light for the key. LOL Are they all related to the same relay ? Dash lights work and can be dimmed.

Yes, there is a light for the key and the map light near the glove box if you have the A01 Light Package option

I just found out also about the relay. See the schematics above from the members that show which circuits are on this relay

So when you open and close dr or pass door the dome light won't work. Did you test the bulb?

If you find you have a good bulb. Check the door switch for ground and condition. Also check for power.

Bulb was good, but replaced with new one. Neither door switch turns on dome light. Dash light knob on dash doesn't turn it on either. But does work for gauges.

As far as the cluster lights. look at the top of the diagram. the cluter light are feed from the orange plug and the ground is through the socket and the light housing and then the screws that fasten it. It isa separate feed.

If it's a70 do your 4ways work

See the plug on the wheel well. That is for the dome light. See if there is power there.
