Thats what I was thinking, it would buckle or some other obvious flaw (crinkled/crack/peeled paint for example), I've got the whole car torn down, no dash installed as Im in the process of redoing that as well. Guess I'll have to wait until the dash is put back together and do a test fit, see...

I started rebuilding my steering column, and was looking a the bracket that holds it up to the brackets on the firewall, it seems bent, but maybe they are made that way???? The interior is stripped, so I can see how it all aligns with the dash and the rest of the car. Dont know if I should...

Plan on mocking up the engine on the car, but I need engine brackets. Its a 318 going into a 72 challenger. From the looks of it, these brackets are hard to find. I can only find one aftermarket supplier that may have the set that will work, Schumacher '66-74 B,C,E-Body 273/318 or 340/360...

I recieved a 727 torque flight (used) for my challenger, plan on installing it on my engine on the test stand. I am not a tranny guy, so excuse my ignorance. I was told, it will "probably work" but may need new seals. I want to install it, so I can play with the engine on the stand. Anyway...

Yep, same here, liked the taillights grill better. I'll catch some flak for this, but I liked the 73/74 bumper guards too......and I had a factory installed luggage rack on my old 73.....not sure if I'll do that again, but I did like the look of that too. TBD for now

Yep, evidently it came out of another challenger, the previous owner threw it in on the deal. Im told it had a mild cam and did run......it looks like it has "j" heads, which are 340 heads, I think. No idea why that was done, or if they modifed the heads or pistons to account for the bigger...

Just picked up a 72 that was in the area, had a 73 back in the day. Going to try to recreate it, but better....hopefully.
