Oh and I believe they were mid-year cars
Some "other" information (my opinion)
- some cars came with rallye instrument clusters, some...
The sunroof is not original. Not sure when it was added but it seems to be decent quality with a nice dome light inside. It will be going away though when I re-skin it. Looks like someone danced a jig on the roof.
A fella over on ebodies.org named alan has restored something like 7 of these. He might have or know of parts your after if it is not complete. Sunroof parts are far and few between and in the relatively small mopar community you might have to contact some of the "restorers" to find stuff.
I'm pretty sure the sunroof is the special order item.
M51 on the build sheet. This would have gone out to a separate shop to have the sunroof installed.

Eb5 with a black interior is a great color combo!
Welcome and thanks for sharing some pics of your sunroof Challenger. An internet friend shot me a picture of the car to let me know that it existed, but until now I had no idea who the lucky owner was. Looks like you have a great stable - I hope to be elbow deep in my restorations when I retire...
...Really like black on the chally vert also!
Any chance we could get a better pic of that broadcast sheet? I'm assuming that is for the sunroof challenger.? Not many sunroof cars around and I love decoding the sheets or tags from special cars like this one.
Been looking for a 72...
