As far as the cluster lights. look at the top of the diagram. the cluter light are feed from the orange plug and the ground is through the socket and the light housing and then the screws that fasten it. It isa separate feed.
Been there done that. Snapped a bolt off. I usually turn in buy hand until it stops. Then give about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn. This is a lesson that is not forgotten. Use a pattern when doing it. If it won't turn any more from where you are at. LET IT GO!
