I am new to this site and as I was looking at your pics, I thought that car looks familiar. Then i seen the trunk area and I was sure. I built this car a few years back and sold it to a guy a The Rod Run in Gatlinburg TN. it didn't have the four speed or the stripe when I sold it. Don't you just love the way the color of the paint changes to green in different light. I won many, many, trophies with this car at car shows. The guy I sold it to lived in South Carolina. I loved that car. If you've got any questions about it let me know, maybe I can help you with your upgrades. Currently I'm building another 71.

Ok.....garage work done for the day....yeah...no 360 nor 727 any more.....and the 4 speed is about to go too!! Color? How can you go wrong with PPG OSO....Love it! Its been a chore hunting the previous owners....I got to Thomas in Texas and then to Conrad....Who had the low down on most of the car from taking ownership....except your name. I've been hunting ever since!! All I have to go on is the Vin#.....But as I cut into it....I see it was once Purple!! Would love to get all the info. on it.....perhaps some pics prior, during and after you patched and painted!! I'll ging ya with me personal info. please drop me a note!

Update...Front and rear Finished......Working Booster and Master Cylinder

We,
Finally got all the parts on my held for list......So Front buttoned up with missing shocks and the rear all shocked up with Disk Brakes!!
Working installation of the Boosted master cylinder now....Then onto the 5 Speed Swap!

I'm also swapping the welded Exhaust Tips...For the Ball Flanged style like I have on my '08

Update......Tip Mod Done, A833 Out, Power Master In

Well,
Getting there....We've got the A833 on the ground....Waiting for Hurst to Send the Right Bell Housing...I'm A little Pissy about that
Been Waiting a Week now!

The Exhaust Tip Mod Turned out as planned....LOve having the Adjustabilty back...Yeah....I still need to adjust them....a little wrench action and Done!

Update.....Boosted Master Cylinder Pains!!

So,
Gotta working on the Boosted Master cylinder install.....The Pedal Shaft was short and I really didn't like not having
any adjustment.....So....Used the Shaft that came with the kit and modified it for adjustabilty!!
ready for final install now!

Update......Still waiting on Hurst!!!

Yup...
Stuck in a holding pattern again for over a week...... I truly hate that!
Hurst was on the money with filling and delivering my TK0 Elite Tranny conversion kit....
But sent me the wrong bellhousing! I'm coming into the second week.....waiting for the right
one......Tick Tock, Tick Tock....Yeah...Its killing me!
Ok....Feeling better now!

Update.....Hood Hinges and Oil Filter Relocation Kit Arrived

So,
Still waiting on Hurst for the bellhousing......But after a (2) month wait....THe "Billet House" hood hinges
arrived and Summit delivered the Oil Filter Relocation parts....I hope to get these on soon!! I have a few mods
to do to my wifes 2011 Turbo Wrangler....then back to work on the Challenger.....its needing a wash badly!

I'm gona re-tap the kit fittings...so the AN fittings fit flush...clean it up a bit!

Update.....Quicktime Bellhouseing/Scatter Shield is Here!!!

Yup,
My 3 weeks of waiting for Hurst to fix their F-Up is over....Time to get
Cracken on the 5 speed swap!! I'll post up some picks soon!!
Also....Reworked the Tran-Dapt oil relocation kit fittings....so all my
AN fitting run flush when tight....dropped them of at the powder coaters
for some cerami-coating to Jazz them up a bit!


PS.....Was thinking of Starting a thread for the Tranny swap....Make it easier to find
with the Proper Heading.....Whattcha think?
