I forgot to add did you buy a lotto ticket when he gave the car back to you? That is just awesome.

The paint looks great. Did you find the build sheet to the car as well?

I was very fortunate to get it back, I keep him updated on the progress and he's pretty excited to see it when we gets it done.

I did find a nice build sheet under the passenger bucket seat. I also found pieces of build sheets under the backseat, behind the glove box and under the carpet. All these were unusable.

Over The Hump

Got the under side, motor compartment, trunk and interior painted. Install rear diff, remove from the rotissorie. Install hood, doors, trunk lid and fenders to prepare for final paint. Finally after 2 1/2 years parts are starting to go back on. Over the hump

Getting ready for final paint. The next update should be all gold, then I can finally start cleaning my basement out. They're has been parts stored down there for 3 years. There starting to look like furniture.

Very cool. I must admit that I really love Gold with Black stripes. The car is awesome. And how cool is that that its your first car too.
