392 Hemi dipstick with mid-sump pan?

I didn't like that extra long tube either. It snaked everywhere, and as mentioned, the dipstick was 2 pieces riveted together. It did not slide in or out worth a sh*t.
I ended up using using the dipstick that came with the crate motor (it was on right side). A little tweak and it was a straight shot down between my TTI shorties on left side.

I never even looked into that option. Did you need to re-mark it? Also, I like how you mounted your throttle bell crank. Much cleaner than mine.

I do like that "right up the side of the engine" approach. It's not a straight shot but it's way better than the crazy route the two-piece version takes.

I'm going to see if I can find something like that, or I was also considering a flexible dipstick solution which I used on the transmission of my 55 chevy build and it worked pretty good.
