The AVS2's are quite efficient with their annular flow primary boosters and actually can be tuned quite easily with metering rods, springs and secondary air door adjustments.Found this on e-bay...good for a 340 stock intake and mild cam?
Thanks man...opted for the street demon 625cfm. Engine didn't come with intake mating with 3261918Z. Have a dilemma...looking for the chrysler stud that will bolt back on the armature for the spring. any sources out here? You can make it work. But once Chrysler came out with the Thermoquad, I just can't see using anything else carburator wise. Of course if money is no objection, multiport fuel injection is the only way to go!
Thanks. I actually read the Hot Rod article supplied in a link. Good information.i have had luck with my street demon you got to take off the throttle plate and clean the junk out the factory left in there it has metering rods for primary seondary's you got to take the carb apart to change the jets a bit of a pain plastic fuel bowl helps keep fuel a little cooler and plenty of room under it for a spacer, holleys are great too
