68 Chrysler High Performance 383 Motor and Trans

This motor and trans is all complete from the carb to the oil pan.It will need to be rebuilt as its been sitting for many years.It also has the starter,alt,power steering pump and ac compressor as well as all the pulleys fan.The trans has the torque converter,flywheel etc.This be a nice and and trans for that 68 Roadrunner,GTX or Dodge Dart.

If that a.c. is original to the engine, it won't be an HP block. There wouldn't happen to be any VIN #'s stamped on it?, They would be right adjacent to the mating surface of the eng. and trans near the oil pressure sending unit. Engine and trans out of same car?.

Hi yes the engine and trans was from the same car.I did check it before and the motor turned out to be a 383 with I think it was 335 horse but will get numbers today

what numbers I got are 2468130 and some sites I went to say that 68 had the steel crank in it where 69 had a cast crank this may not be the high performance engine but pretty much engines back in this time frame were high performance more then todays but at any rate any other questions feel free to ask and also at the end of that number looks like a 9 not sure what that is and also on the same side of the block was a LL.
