I’m having an issue with my brake pedal height. Ever since I got the car the brake pedal has been very high. I’ve just been living with it but now I’m doing a manual transmission swap and it’s way higher than the clutch pedal.
I’ve seen kits that have 2 different length rods, I don’t know the name, and I think the shorter one is what I need. Does anyone know any measurements or where I can get just the rods?

My car has power drum brakes. It’s not original in many ways. It was an original 340 car that now has a 426.

Personally I would measure carefully & fabricate or modify what you have . It is probably 7:1 ratio so an inch in the rod would drop the pedal 7 "or more

I would have to look. There are different positions holes on the brake pedal arm. Disc and drum position?
