Removing my dash to replace the dash pad, but stuck as I cant seem to remove or split my fuse box. I have undone the mounting screws to the firewall, but that does not seem right as it is connected to all the wires in the engine bay. I am assuming that the fuse block stays connected to the firewall but splits apart at the fuse block so the dash can come out with the rest of the fuse block staying connected to the firewall.
Question is how do you split the two fuse block assemblies apart as they seem quite delicate.

Thanks
