Just to be honest the wheels are wrong, steering wheel is wrong, the entire interior is shot, needs an exhaust system including tips, and I don't know where to start on the engine it's so messed up. Just what I can see to make these things correct you'll need 10K. Then there are the mechanics of it all,don't even know if it runs. Now we have paint, trim and body work. 5k for paint job, who knows what the metal work will cost. Now we are at 27K and only covered a small portion of repair costs. Yea.......5K is a fair price. I like the car but for my money I would get the '70 on E-Bay, They are just more desirable and worth more in the end according to Hemmings

The wheels just need new center caps. How do you know the exhaust is bad?

It didn't sell. The bids may have been from his friends. If it sold at $13,772 it would be different. Looks like a lot of activity up until $10,000. Then automatic bids took over.
