After working the bugs out and a few break in miles, I finally got the stripe kit out and got 1 side done. Going to do the other side tomorrow and get more pics outside.
Been a 4 year battle with this one but, I'm loving it.

@MerlinsMopars Do you have a thread dedicated to the details of this awesome ride?
I had posted it when I first got it. It was autumn bronze when the previous owner bought it in 74 and stayed that color until I researched it and changed it to the OEM colors. Not sure why it was ever repainted that early in its life but it wasn't wrecked because it was sanded to bare metal and black under the existing paint. I hear that this combo is pretty rare and maybe someone decided to hide it.
All # matching.

The reflective stripe looks awesome!
Thank you Gary, It took a while until I was ready for them but they look great. Glad that you were able to help me out. I appreciate it! I'm going to post more pics when I get the time to finish. Should be real soon.

That does look pretty cool. Cool that it is an original combo too. Is if a reflective green stripe?

I love odd stripe combinations on Mopars , have owned a few, have to say this is a first.
Do you also have broadcast sheet, or any other docs for car?

Build sheet is only a few shreds left, which was under the passenger seat. No others found. All body and motor/ trans #s checked out. I went off the fender tag which is original to the car. I was very happy with the outcome. None of that was known when I bought it and I had different build ideas for it until I dug up on its build codes from the tag.
I decided on the steelies but it probably had rallys from the factory. 15" only came if the inflatable spare or convertible was optioned from what I researched on the site.

Gotcha. Interesting that the stripe code shows on tag. The other V6J 71 Challenger l know of has it listed only on broadcast sheet and not on tag.
Looking forward to seeing updates on this one. Love 71s , don't get same respect as 70s from my experience.
I prefer the 71 styling over 70 myself.
I've had 2. One with orange stripes and orange and black houndstooth interior.
