I have in my possession a set of NOS rocker panel mouldings with hardware that i was originally going to sell. Now that my car is operable and in good driver condition, I have decided to install them on my car. Does anyone have locating information for these trim pieces? The factory parts have a screw hole in each end, if someone could provide locating dimensions for these screws that would probably give me all I need.

Thanks in advance for your support

I spent some time looking through my notes and docs. But most of it is 1970-71 content.

From memory, the top of the 1973-74 style of rocker molding (the triangle drip molding thing-deal) is located about 1-inch (or the width of the molding, also about 1-inch) below the door opening. This places it about center of the painted 3-inch space running below the passenger doors. Front to back I'm fuzzy on, but I'm betting the piece is likewise centered.

That is about what I gathered from looking at photos, but it's hard to judge from the angle of the photos. Thanks for the reply
