DON'T ask me any questions about this car because it was my wife's boyfriend's car at the time, so I don't know anything about it other than what you see. My wife just turned 17 in the pic from Jan 1971. I thought you guys might want to see an authentic 340 sixpack engine compartment without the air-cleaner, dust and all. She did say he wasn't much of a car guy, so it is just like the way it was when he bought it new in the summer of 1970.

That's great to see because it proves master cylinder and brake booster should be all black. I have heard that's how they were factory but not many people restore them to all black

Thanks had a brain fart on that one i was too busy looking at the engine details not the fact that it was a TA i am doing the matching Nos engine in my 70 A66 trying to get everything right seems to be a bit of original info here & a bit there its only pictures of original unrestored cars that are believable.
This is a pic of my 340 when it was first done but went through some changes in its life.

It looks as though they blacked out the top of the inner fender and I'm surprised to see a 2 speed wiper Motor with the 6 pack. I know in a B-body of the previous generation any N96 would have included a 3 speed wiper.
