Just wondering what the max front tire size people are running on a 70 Cuda
Thanx

I am running 255 40 17 tires on all four corners on forged aluminum 17 x 9, +10 offset wheels. The 25" tire diameter helps for clearance on the front. A larger diameter tire of the same width would not clear when steering.Just wondering what the max front tire size people are running on a 70 Cuda

235-60R 15 TA Radials all around. This leaves 3/8 to 1/2 inch between tire and frame rail with wheel cut all the way over.Just wondering what the max front tire size people are running on a 70 Cuda

Volk Racing. Unfortunately, they discontinued the +10 offset in the model that I bought, just a few years ago.I like those wheels
Who makes them?

Finally that's the information I was looking for. ThanxLIMEGREENAAR,
A couple of questions...
Manual or Power Steering? 245s will add increased slow-speed steering effort on the front of a manual steering car. Power steering negates this issue so the 245s will work fine. Stick to 225s/235s with manual steering.
What wheels do you have now or plan to buy for the front tire selection? 15" x 7" factory wheels can easily use 245/60-15 tires on the front. 15" x 8" aftermarket versions of the Rallye or Magnum 500 wheels can easily use 275/60-15 tires.ly
