So how many EL5 convertibles??
1971 Challenger convertibles in EL5 - Slant 6 (2) - V8 (75 +/- 2).So how many EL5 convertibles??
Very interesting, thank you! I’m surprised so many but I guess out of 2165 total it makes sense.1971 Challenger convertibles in EL5 - Slant 6 (2) - V8 (75 +/- 2).
Scott.
Looks like the options report only shows the count for the P6EW Leather bucket seats (33) and does not have the Red and White interior listed in the other 2 seat options H6 and H4. It appears that these colorful interiors - EW, BW, FW - were late additions to the dealership color and trim brochures as Barry's website shows:

One of 355 with that engine and trans then(3 spd).My car came with a 3 speed manual. JS23NOB 383 R/T. It's a 4 speed now.
thanks! Hmmm of 22-23 cars...I wonder how many are still on the roadThey made 599 RT SE JS29 1970 Challengers in FC7 = 16%
Take 16% of the 142 cars; would be a rough estimate. 22-23 CARS from the 142 built

good thing mine is a true FC7...Let’s say 20% of the 22/3 would be a fair guess however there are far more purple cars now than were originally produced.
