Hi guys, i'm never on FEBO but was told this would be the place to post to ask this.. (i live on FABO mostly) I have some emblems i was given in i think it was 1996 and threw in a cupboard and forgot bout til recently. I was hoping i could find out if they are legit original mopar or knockoffs? I don't know if anyone did knockoffs back then but was hoping to sell these and don't want to represent them wrongly. (need to offset cost of some front rims/tires for my '62..

Think i got pics of the part #s and all. They aren't perfect since they were just in a ziplock together..

I’m going to guess they’re original Mopar parts and not the more-recent reproductions. An obvious difference on the engine callouts it the brushed vs. polished “440”. Brushed finish is factory IMO.

Challenger emblems look period correct at well.

Some of the reproduction emblems look really, really good. But these do look OEM, to me. And would be correct for a 1970-1971 Dodge Challenger 440-4

I'm not sure the reproduction wouild have the Chrysler logo and part number?
Unless maybe it was a Mopar licensed product?

Most of the reproductions I’ve seen have the part number and pentastar. I’m guessing most are licensed.

I bought the hood engine call out emblems for my ‘Cuda at the dealership, I believe in 1992, so it’s in the same general period. These were available much later from Chrysler than most other parts, so very well could be OEM.
