Good evening!! I’m happy to be joining FEBO. I’m getting started on a 70 Cuda. This car out on the road again has been a lifelong dream. Very excited to have another resource to use in getting this bad fish swimming.

Welcome to FEBO. If it starts and runs drive it! Only fix to make it safe and reliable. Brakes, tires, exhaust, tune up, fluid checks and GO! There's no turning back when you restore it. It can be done later. take some parts off now for later restoration.

Welcome to the group. Lots of good info shared here.

Tell us about the car in a new thread. Photos and documentation (Broadcast Sheet, Fender Tag, Paperwork, etc.) are great for discussion.

Just a sample of what this forum offers...
There were approximately 3,847 Barracudas/Cudas produced for 1970. Chart has numbers calculated from Chrysler/Plymouth's paint percentages and total BH/BS/BP production in 1970.

My dad bought the car used in 77 I believe and had it since. It’s been sitting since 87 indoors. Only have a few photos now. Should have the car at my place in the coming days then I’ll be able to dig more.

Quick look at your fender tag shows an EF8 - Ivy Green Cuda 340 with the rare, 3-speed floor shift (D13), no console, and green vinyl bucket seat interior (H6F8).

For your option decoding pleasure:

Curious, based on your Scheduled Production Date (SPD) of 429 (scheduled for April 29, 1970)...
Is the cowl area at the base of the windshield blacked out? Cowl blackout was phased out in early-1970 approximately at the end of the AAR Cuda production.

An original, untouched car is a great car to work with. Congratulations!

Very cool!!! Thank you very much for this info. I have the original 340 and 3 speed. It has a 440 and 4 speed right now from another cuda my dad had in the past.

Do you have a Broadcast Sheet? If not, look for one in these places (Rear seat springs, bucket seat back in springs, above the dash glove box insert).
Details HERE.
