Just got my renewal notice for the cuda and road runner. I have had Hagerty coverage for 20 plus years and no claims, so I am rewarded with a 50 percent increase in premium. The policy went up $300 per year.
State Farm has a terrible track record for paying claims. Buyer Beware.Has anything went down or stayed the same price wise in CA lately? One reason I left Sac and moved to Idaho. Try State Farm. They actually have an acceptable premium. Mine is $255 per year based on a vehicle value of $40,000. Good luck.
Times do change. My son was in school took his girlfriend to the mall. Parked way out of the way so nothing happened to our car. Low and behold he came out and the was a guy waiting for him that hit the car. The guy had two kids in the back careering on and got distracted. My son was upset. The adjuster from State Farm came and looked at it. The first thing I told him is I don't want it totaled. We just built a lot of dependably into it. Brakes tires exhaust axles and others. It was an older Subaru I bought for him in the winter, ($700?) put bald tires on it and said go drive like I showed you! The adjuster made out the estimate for2k and keep the car. Didn't even question or blink an eye. Just a bent fender, bumper cover and edge of the door. Bang it out and away it went. My son later thought it through. He said the Subaru destroyed the Kia and it wasn't even moving! He look at it as a great battle scare.State Farm has a terrible track record for paying claims
That's a great rate, for clarification:The deductibles and coverage determine most of the premium. But I think it is to high. Going to look elsewhere if it will make a difference. Don't want to lose an asset over a $100. Someone will get my business.

Yearly. There could be other factors that calculate the premium. Zip code, credit score, driving record, recent claims and who else is on the policy. Here again that's an industry that I think it is out of control. In most cases? Theil accept your premium with out question and when it come time to honor the claim. They back pedal and find a work around in fine print. They just don't want to take on the responsibility. I'm sure we all seen this in some form. Deny Delay Defend Suspend! That's a great rate, for clarification:
Is that for the entire year, or 6 months?
I have almost same policy with AC too, but my yearly policy is $600.
But I don't have the 2500 mile limit.
I’d have to haul my car to another state in order to get 2500 miles in a year. If I tried that here in Michigan, all I’d get is the bill for 4 new wheels, and a busted suspension. That's a great rate, for clarification:

Two examples. One. Had my son on our policy when in school and collage. We were with a local insurance co in our town from the day I was driving. On and off through the decades car and home. Mostly on. Same as my father. They took good care of our family. I want to say about 10 years ago they sold out , retiring. Our son was on his own for about 2 year? We were looking at our policy's and changing things around. We then realized our son was still on our policy as a house hold drive. So we contacted the new company to remove him as a house hold driver. They refused. They first wanted his driver's license, rent receipt's, bills where he resided, car insurance and car registration. I said to them. That is his privet information. But the still insisted. We fixed that went with an other insurance co. 3 houses 6 cars They keep calling us and sending us letters to renew or policy's. For a year or more.I think it is out of control
