if the power valve is more than 1 " it is staying open therefore the idle screws will not affect the mix as fuel is getting in past the power valve

Have you or can you post a pic of the motor? If you already have, I didn’t see it. And what’s the cam card read

Looks great. Can’t imagine the low vacuum number with the cam designs for the last 10 years. I’m running a 500 stroker, six pack. The carbs out of the box are dang good. Center carb came with 62’s and 65 PV. I’m getting 12-13” vac with a comp cam ( I know they are not real popular) but, for my cruising and occasional WOT works great. You sure there’s not a vac leak? And you’re probably at 34-36 total timing. I have promax baseplate on the rear carb just for easy adj if needed. I’ll share my cam info if you’re interested. Good luck to you

you can order online to get a 1" PV or yes you can plug the PV & increase jetting by 8 sizes to compensate , I prefer to use the power valve so it is not overfuelling all the time with the larger jet size .
I used a custom cam with similar specs , it worked very well but had more vacuum typically

Hello,
Have now removed "Promax" and mounted your original. has 66 in nozzle and power valve 2.5 has AFR value of 12.8-13.2 at 1000 rpm. The ignition is 17 degrees, full range 36 degrees
I will be driving for a while so I will see what I do. Thanks for the help so far. Sincerely, Morgan
