Thank you Challenger RTA. As you know, they are never truly complete...A lot of have been down the trail of Blood Sweet and Tears and some still are there. Thanks for sharing and flashing the light at the end of the tunnel. Also the install and methods used will be a help for other.
The color combination and look is a Big Chick magnet. Looks absolutely Great!
Hello 1973, I did not do the body work but with a help of a couple friends, when needed, I did the rest of the work myself. Without having the FSM and this website, I would still be in the middle of the restoration. That being said, without a family that allowed Saturday's to be Dad's day in the garage with the mistress the Barracuda would not be at the stage it is at either.I almost lost my roadrunner from a shady body guy Ron Litzau in MN, and did lose the engine he said he was paying for ( from my payments) but never did. Seems common in this car game, wonder why?
Sorry if i missed it but are you doing all this work yourself? Body, paint, etc? Looksgreat
Some day I would love to go to Carlisle. I'm not sure if I could afford the gas to drive the Barracuda there.....Are you attending Carlisle?
I bet you would be the only HB1 Cuda.
How many miles are you to that show? Some day I would love to go to Carlisle. I'm not sure if I could afford the gas to drive the Barracuda there.....
I'm about 360 miles away from Carlisle. I need to get some miles under my belt before I trust that she'll go that far without issues...How many miles are you to that show?
I did not Dyno the engine. I would have liked to but there is no dyno's close enough. My guess is in the low to mid 400hp range. Yes that is a Dakota dash and its the non-rally dash VHX-70D-STD-K-W. I really like that there is a tach and oil gage in the cluster. I really like the look of the rally dash cluster but that would have meant I would have to buy all of the bezels too. I'm not made of money...Did you dyno the engine? If so what was the "hero" number?
Is that a Dakota dash? Which one?
