70 Cuda originally with no A/C......installing Vintage Air kit and using factory A/C dash pad and vents. Do I install the dash pad in the car and then install the vents , or do the vents go in the dash pad before it goes in the car on to the dash frame?

Thanks in advance

Definitely need the vents in the dash when installing.
You'll need to wiggle the ducts to get them aligned and connected to the vents.
Easy to do when the ashtray and glove box liner are removed.

I was afraid you would say that. Guess I am not installing until next week when the vents arrive. I thought it would be more difficult to get the dash cap on with the vents in there....but I never did this before.....I already have Vintage Air adapters to get their ducts on to the factory vents. Glove box is out for the A/C install.

Thanks for the info!!
