I have been working with Jeff Lingenfelter on rear bumper brackets for Cuda's. His first set was very close. His newest set is dead on perfect. If anyone is looking for some lightweight aluminum bumper brackets for their Cuda or Challenger, front or rear, Jeff now has them ready for shipping.

Show us a picture of what those bumper brackets look like and also how much are they.

moparlee, sgcuda has the only set in existence right now so he will have to show the pics. It will be 2-3 weeks minimum before I have some ready to ship. The price is $85 A set plus shipping.

Is it possible to jack up rear with bumper jack with these installed? If not, let buyer know. I have a trolley jack in my car to jack it up. Fortunately never had to use it.

Right on! I always liked stuff like this. Any little way to shave a few LB's is good by me. Definitely want to get some pics of them and info like weight savings. You will be asked for sure. Good luck with them.

These are pics of the prototypes. Very similar to the production ones. Just some slight tweaks for better fit. Also, production ones will be .100" thick. They are not designed to be capable of jacking up the car. Mine are mounted on a fiberglass bumper. Jeff has thicker ones, I believe, for mounting a steel bumper, but still won't handle using a bumper jack.

Will the front ones support an original elastomeric bumper? I'd be interested in a set of those and ones for the back steel bumper.

Aren't you guys worried how little these will protect the car from damage? Little will prevent damage from an impact over 25 MPH, but those lighter taps when cruising or in the parking lot will probably crush these brackets like they're made of paper. If you're running fiberglass bumpers, agreed, you may as well go for it.
