The vert hit a telephone pole that same year but was repaired and back on the road until 1986. The Powerwagon was a B1 blue 440/full time 4wd. got around 10mpg!That's an awesome picture and a nice line up of Mopars including the Ram. The 71 vert has the pretty rare wide headlight and hood bezel.
71 Cuda 340 convertible, bought it in 78 for 700 bucks as a basket case, sold it in 88 for 8 grand, thought I did pretty good, who knew. Original 340/727 car, shaker was added. Found the shaker the next town over paid 500 bucks for it complete.

How much of a basket case could it have been in 78!
Great story! Our "Wedding vehicle" was a '67 Belvedere convertible that my wife borrowed from her employer. My 1971 GY3 Citron Yella 383 4 spd R/T on my wedding day Sept 1971. I ordered it from the dealership checklist in Oct 1970 and traded my 1968 Charger for it. Got $1500 for the Charger! Sold the Challenger in 1978 (needed a family car), but found it again in 1989, did a full nut & bolt restoration and still have it today.View attachment 34113
I picked up so many B and E bodies for less than $1000 each. They were just used cars and only a few had the foresight to hold on to them.Old photo of my 1970 Challenger A66 at the Hemi Owners Meet in 1982 next to my friend's 70 Cuda convertible 340 car.
I paid $950 for the Challenger in 1979 and my friend paid $500.00 for the Cuda ( Cuda was in very poor condition in 1980 before he fixed it up)
