I just purchased a pair of Barracudas, a 73 Rally Red 318 auto & a 71Curious Yellow 318 4 speed. Both cars are rough, but got them cheap, both for $1500.00. The 73 will be put into storage, and I'll rebuild the 71. Would anyone know what the production number would be on the 71, I have been unable to locate any numbers, the guy I purchased it from stated there was around 700 made. Thanks

Rough, the 73 is good for parts. The 71 needs floor pan, trunk pan, tail light panel, quarters and rear frame rails. But for being up North, not bad.

There were 725 318 4 speed cars but that includes convertibles so 700 is probably accurate. I bet not many were curious yella though.

Wow, still a great deal. Here is my 71 BH I bought a couple of years ago. My frame rails and tail panel were fine. I replaced the quarters, trunk pan, dutchman panel, trunk rails, one outer wheelhouse, one rear floor plan, and numerous patches. PS I paid a heck of a lot more than you did.....
