So my Cuda was painted 10 years ago before I bought it. I bought the Top cat felt kit to replace the worn felts.
When I was looking at the rear of the quarter window I noticed there is a gap at the end on the outer felt. Is this right? Shouldn't be sealed in the back of the window to body? I was wondering if they installed the outer felts wrong after they painted .
The Top cat outer felt has a notch at one end . Does the notch go to the front or rear on the body panel ?

The clips will allow the felts to be installed in one direction. It appears that your missing the U-jamb seal as well which would help to transition the area between the end of the window felt and door glass.

I took the U jamb seal off to replace the outer felts.

I tried the way the felts attach and the clips fit both ways . the notch in the front or rear. because the slots in the quarter panel are about 3/4 long where the clips go in from the factory.
