When you are ready to "poke" holes in the headliner, don't use a razor because the slices you put in the headliner could grow over time. I used a soldering iron which will melt the hole which won't allow it to grow. I used the soldering iron on all the holes for my headliner, mirror, sun visors etc..
I'm not too worried about the headliner. It's in pretty rough shape. No rips but sagging. Thanks.
