Hello, I'm build a 72 barracuda and picked up a six pack setup years ago. Finally getting motor set up, 360 with x heads, and was planning on sending the carbs out to be rebuilt. This setup has been off a car for along time and I always wondered if it was og off an aar or ta or a kit purchased later. Also want to know who is the best to have them rebuilt and setup. I'm in sw Washington state. Thanks for any info. I'm including some pics.

It looks correct and pretty complete to me. Missing a couple of throttle linkage pieces. I don't have any tips on who rebuilds those carbs though. Someone will chime in.
I had a 440 Six Pack on my Challenger so not sure if the small block used the vapor separator and return line or not.

You also may want to think about which of two ways you want these carbs rebuilt. I see two options:

1. cleaned and rebuilt with "rebuild kits" and made fully functional, but will still looked "aged."
2. restored, including plating the "cadmium" yellow finish.

A lot more people (myself included) can clean and rebuild these, and several of us frequent this forum. But the 2nd option will cost you considerably more (3x or more) since there is acid washes, polishing and plating involved.

Nice!
Woodruff Carburetor Specialties is one of our vendors at the top of the list on the right of this very screen/page. They do great work.

Thanks for all the info. I'm building a driver so not so much interested in perfect appearance. I still wonder if they are really off an AAR.

Check the carb butterfly shaft play available, these are known to wear and cause issues but can be bushed if needed. New carbs are about $1200 each and rebuild is about $400 each, if you go for plating as original etc.

Thanks, probley looking for a standard rebuild as I'm not to worried about plating and perfect appearance. I just drove a 340 six pack car and loved the way it pulled when the secondary carbs came on.

There’s not much to these set ups, metering block on center unit only so it operates like a vacuum secondary on a four barrel only twice the fun. You can purchase a “carb kit” for each and rebuild them yourself, kits won’t include diaphragm for vacuum pods, but you need to be certain they work properly. I say go for it and good luck.
